I hope you are all doing well. Here is the agenda for Saturday and also some other information.

***Pack Summer Camp out***
There Scout Shop at Council is having a “One Day Clearance Sale” Saturday, February 18th from 9:30am to 1:00pm. There will be assorted merchandise on sale for up to 75$ off the original retail price.

March’s Pack meeting we will be visited by Wildlife in Need. They have asked for a monetary donation from the Pack. Since we did so well with the popcorn sale, every dollar raised will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $100.00, by the Pack. They also have provided a wish list of things that are critically important to their life saving efforts. The list consists of: Mixed bird seed
No-waste Bird seed
Whole nuts
Puppy Chow
Canned and Dry Dog & Cat food (Science Diet)
Canned Veggies (Peas & Corn are preferred)
*Berries (Unsweetened fresh or frozen)
Innova EVO (Cat & Kitten food)
*Earthworms or Waxworms
* Bungee Cords
AA or 9V Batteries
Flannel or Cotton Bed sheets
High Efficiency Laundry Detergent (HE)
Bleach
*Paper Towels
Large Trash Bags (55 gallons)
Duct Tape
Postage Stamps
Copier Paper (colored)
**Starred items are ones that are most needed**
Please help us help them by giving whatever you can.

March is also Scouting for Food, There will be a sign up sheets at the Pack meeting. Every boy must help on either one of the two weekends.

Pack Meetings for the Remainder of the Year

I hope this finds all of you well. I have had a couple of calls on when our Pack meetings are so here are all of the dates through the end of our year in May.

January 26th, 6:30PM, The Webelos will do the opening and then our F.O.S. presentation followed by skits and songs. For those of you going to River Rats, YOUR FINAL PAYMENT/T-SHIRT SIZE IS DUE AT THIS PACK MEETING.

February 11th AT 11:30AM, is our Blue & Gold, with the alternate date of February 25th. The Wolves will have the opening. This Meeting will be held at the Oconomowoc High School Cafeteria. ALL DENS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CENTERPIECES ON THEIR TABLES. All family members are welcome, ie. Grand parents, Aunts & Uncles, etc. There will be a sign-up sheet at January’s Pack meeting to give us an idea on how much meat we will have to buy. Just a reminder, each den is responsible to bring a dish to pass. Tigers=Desserts, Wolves=Fruit & Veggies, Bears=Drinks & Chips, Webelos=Salads/Pasta Salads.*****ALL DISHES SHOULD BE “NUT FREE”*****.

March 22nd, 6:30PM, The Bears will have the opening, and we will have a visit from Wildlife in Need. March is also Scouting for Food month. The 17th is “Bag drop off” day and the 24th is “Bag pick up day”. There will be a sign up sheet at the Pack meetings. ALL SCOUTS ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN AT LEAST ONE OF THE WEEKENDS.

April 21st. !!!!!!! PINEWOOD DERBY !!!!!!!!! With the 28th as the alternate date. This meeting will be held at the Oconomowoc High School Cafeteria. Races start at 11:30 sharp. Weigh in date to follow.

May 11th, 12th, 13th, !!!!!!!!!! RIVER RATS !!!!!!!!!!! More info to follow.
May 17th, will be our last Pack meeting for the year, with an ice cream social, and a special cross over ceremony.

October 2011 Newsletter

Hello to all,

Attention, attention, attention….our Pack meeting for this Thursday October 20th has been moved to a new location due to a conflict in scheduling.

We will have our meeting at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.209 W Wisconsin Ave. at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

For our new families, enter the Church through the main doors then go threw the door to your left and head downstairs.

I would like to take this opportunityto welcome Chris and Sandy Maegli to the Pack family. Chris and Sandy will be spear heading the new Tiger den. I would also like to welcome all of our new families.

Remimders:

All popcorn/wreath/coffee: money and order forms are due this evening the 20th.
If you have a conflict please contact Jamie and Darryl Meissner directly.

River Rats Camping:
The $30 deposit will be due this night as well.
We still have openings available so if you are interested please contact Delaina Komppa to be added to the list.
